Questions

UV resistance, realism and what survives an Indian balcony.

What buyers ask about artificial flowers — outdoor fading, cleaning, stem length and how to make them look real. If yours is not here, write to guestservices@solivarlounge.shop and a person will answer it.

What do you sell?

Artificial plants and flowers for indoor and outdoor display: trailing petunias, realistic rose bouquets, lavender bushes and UV-resistant faux outdoor bundles in mixed colours.

Indoor or outdoor?

Indoor stems

Softer fabrics and finer detail, which read beautifully close up but fade quickly in direct sun. Keep them away from a south-facing window.

UV-resistant outdoor

Heavier plastic and treated pigment made to hold colour on a balcony. Less delicate up close, far more durable, and the only sensible choice for an exposed railing.

Mixing the two

Outdoor bundles as the backbone with a few indoor stems tucked in reads better than either alone — just accept the indoor ones are a seasonal replacement.

How long will outdoor stems hold their colour?

UV-resistant stems in full Indian sun typically hold acceptable colour for a season or two, less on a west-facing wall. Nothing artificial is permanent outdoors; anyone claiming otherwise is selling. Rotating the arrangement occasionally evens out the fading.

How do I clean them?

Indoors, a hairdryer on cool or a soft brush lifts dust without wetting the fabric. Outdoors, rinse with plain water and shake dry. Never use soap or solvent on printed petals — it strips the pigment and leaves a chalky bloom.

Can I cut the stems shorter?

Yes, with wire cutters rather than scissors, because most stems have an internal wire. Cut a little long first and trim again — and remember that cutting ends the return window on that stem.

How do I make them look less artificial?

Bend the wire so no two stems sit at the same angle, vary the heights, and mix at least two tones. A bunch of identical stems all standing straight is what reads as fake, far more than the material itself does.

What does delivery cost and how long does it take?

Free on orders of ₹1,499 and above; a flat ₹59 below that. Order before 3:00 PM IST on a working day and we pack it within 1 business day; transit is 2–8 business days, so most orders arrive within 3–9 business days of confirmation.

How can I pay?

UPI (prepaid) or Cash on Delivery, and nothing else. We do not accept credit cards, debit cards, net banking, PayPal or third-party wallets, so no such option appears at checkout. COD is available on most serviceable PIN codes at no extra charge.

Can I return something I changed my mind about?

Yes — within 7 days of delivery, provided it is unused and in its original packaging with the invoice. Trimmed or arranged stems cannot come back. Approved refunds are processed within 7 business days.
